Back to the Blog

Silence on the blog this month - since New Year we've had our heads down as we mull over, scrub up and altogether dress down our upcoming site.

Needless to say, we’re still here. January in London has been filled with all things authonomy, of which the only sign now is the mountain of documents lying on, over, and under my desk. Who knew that building a website would require so many sheets of paper?

Throughout our efforts we've been reading all your comments, which have certainly been lively. It’s great to get so much feedback as we soldier on with development, so thanks for all your impressions – and please do keep them coming as we add more info to the blog.

I think it’s our turn to fill you in on a few things now, so over the next few weeks we’ll try and answer some more of your queries (starting, I would say, with your concerns about copyright) and we’ll also let you know a little more how authonomy will work. Keep an eye for more posts to come.

And finally, if you’ve found us by some other means please do go and leave your e-mail address over at authonomy.com. Behind our unassuming holding page we’re beavering away at the site proper (honest) – so please do register your interest now, and we’ll drop you a line when you can really start getting involved...

Every sympathy! Building a website means huge amounts of paper! I spent Christmas rebuilding mine and it certainly took over my - and my husband's! - life.

Hope you'll be as pleased with the result of yours!

pinch, punch, first of the month - no returns.

On my travels through webspace recently i have been coming accross various other attempts to create this type of site - all of which seem to have disappeared into the cyberspace void and probably bot least because this site is so close to a reality and backed by, well, a real publisher. take your time and get it right - we'll still be here...

Mark, Anne, what did you use the paper for?

I didn't use any when I put my website together. Am I missing something?

Good to see the Authonomy blog rousing itself from hibernation.

Bizarrely, it was for drawing up pictures of how I wanted it to look so I could work it out, Lexi! That plus printing out the stuff the host kept sending me in an attempt to make sense of it!

I have built websites commercially. It's better to take your time and get it right. Especially with this website that will be so important to many of us!

It is just nice to see that the whole thing is progressing. Patience will be the byword, eh?

I hope that it brings you the results you are looking for.

And of course, there are lots of us out here who hope to be a part of that success!

Is the caper still on?

What on Earth is happening with this? Three months in, and we have nothing. Can someone please post an update... even if it's only to say you're still alive and this isn't a pointless hoax.

Sorry, this authonomy.com thing, it was all a hoax. Just to show that reality is more hilarious than fiction

Is Authonomy still progressing? I think we'd all appreciate an update, even if it's just to say that things aren't ready yet. As a writer who is interested in using the service and also as a software developer I'd find any news of interest ...

Does anyone in Authonomy actually read the blog messages?
