Last year the BBC launched a competition to find the nation's best true-life stories. The public were invited to submit the stories to the
My Story website, where they can be read by everyone. When the compeition closed in January this year, over 7000 entries had been uploaded. These were whittled down to a shortlist of fifteen finalists, who will be appearing on the My Story TV series, which starts tonight on BBC1 at 10.35pm. Each week, 3 finalists will tell their stories with the winning author having his or her book published by
HarperTrue. The winning books will be avilable to buy or download as soon as each programme has aired.
Make sure you catch tonight's episode, on BBC1 at 10.35pm
